BPSC DSO 2025: Eligibility Criteria

• A graduate degree from a recognized university.
• The candidate must have a Diploma in Sports Coaching from the Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports (Sports Authority of India), or a Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Coaching (PGDCSD) from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior, or a Central Sports University, or any other sports university recognized by the UGC or Bihar Sports University.

• Sports Achievements:

• The candidate should have represented their country in recognized competitions or represented the state in National/International Championships such as the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, or Asian Games.

• Alternatively, the candidate should have participated at least twice in the All India Inter University/Recognized Junior Championship/National Youth Championship or three times in the Inter-Services Competition/All India Police Games/Inter-Railway Championship.

BPSC DSO 2025: Exam Pattern/ Syllabus

📌 Selection Process

The selection process will consist of three stages:

1️⃣ Stage 1 – Hindi Language (Qualifying Paper)

• 📝 The Hindi Language paper will be of 100 marks.

• ✅ It is a qualifying paper only (marks will not be added to the merit list).

• Candidates must score the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed.

2️⃣ Stage 2 – Written Examination

• The written exam will consist of two papers:

📄 Paper I (100 Marks)

• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

• Duration: ⏰ 2 hours

• Syllabus: General Studies, General Science, and Subject Knowledge

📄 Paper II (100 Marks)

• Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ)

• Duration: ⏰ 2 hours

• Syllabus: Post Graduate level Subject Knowledge
