Note: Candidates must qualify both PMT and PST. Physical standards will be measured as per official norms of HSSC CET Group C Advt. 06/2026.

HSSC CET Group C 2026: Exam Pattern

Pattern of Examination

• Total Questions: 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

• Total Marks: 100 marks.

• Duration: 1 Hour and 45 Minutes.

• Medium & Mode: Compulsory, bilingual (English & Hindi) questions conducted via an offline, OMR-based written test.

Minimum Qualifying Marks

• General Category: 50%.

• Reserved Category: 40% (applicable to both vertical and horizontal reservations).

Marking Scheme & OMR Guidelines

• Answering Option: Candidates are given four answer choices for every question to fill in the corresponding circle on the OMR sheet.

• Incorrect Answers: There is no negative marking for choosing a wrong option.

• Un-attempted Questions:

  1. If a candidate decides not to attempt a question, they must fill the fifth circle/bubble on the OMR sheet.

  2. Failure to fill the fifth bubble for an un-attempted question will result in a penalty deduction of minus one mark per question.
