Age Limit

• Medical Assistant trade (For candidates with 10+2):- Candidate should be unmarried and born  between 01 January 2006 and 01 January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
• Medical Assistant trade (For candidates with Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy):- Unmarried candidate shouldbe born between 01 January 2003 and 01 January 2008 (both dates inclusive). Married candidate should be born between 01 January 2003 and 01 January 2006  (both dates inclusive).
• In case, a candidate clear all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as on date of enrolment should be 21 years for candidates with 10+2/ Intermediate/ Equivalent including vocational course and 24 Years for candidates holding Diploma/ B.Sc in Pharmacy.

Eligibility Criteria

• Medical Assistant trade (For candidates with 10+2) : Candidate should have passed 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and with 50% marks in English.
  OR
  Should have passed two years’ Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards recognised by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

• Medical Assistant trade (For candidates with Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy):- Candidate with Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy. Candidate should have passed Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. In addition, Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at the time of enrolment will be mandatory requirement.

Physical Eligibility Details

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT). PFT consists of a 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes (For candidates
  up to the age of 21 Years) and 7 minutes 30 Seconds (For candidates above 21 years of age and holding Diploma / B.Sc in Pharmacy). In addition, Candidates will have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the Physical Fitness Test.
• Note: Candidates are advised to bring their sports shoes and shorts/track pant. Detailed procedure on expected
  technique for Push Ups, Sit Ups and Squats is available on CASB web portal www.airmenselection.cdac.in.

• Height : Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms.
• Chest : The chest should be well proportioned and well developed with the minimum range of expansion of 5 cms
• Weight :Proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
• Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
• Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points
• Visual Standards: 6/36 each eye, correctable to 6/9 each eye; Maximum limits of Refractive Error Not exceeding + 3.50D including Astigmatism

Pay Scale & Mode of Selection

• Pay Scale: Rs.26,900/- per month
• Selection Process: Physical Fitness Test, Written Test, Adaptability Test – II & Medical Appointments

📋 How to Download IAF Group Y / Medical Assistant Airmen Intake 01/2027 Exam City / Admit Card

1. Visit the official Indian Air Force website indianairforce.nic.in.
2. Click on the “IAF Group Y / Medical Assistant Airmen Intake 01/2027” link.
3. Log in using your Registration Number / Email ID and Password / Date of Birth.
4. Click on the “Download Admit Card” or “Exam City / Admit Card” link.
5. Download the Admit Card / Exam City Slip and take a printout.
6. Carry the printed Admit Card along with a valid photo ID proof to the examination center.

Note: Admit Card will be available 10–15 days before the exam. Check all details carefully and contact the IAF helpline in case of any discrepancy.
