Eligibility Criteria
- Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent examination from any recognised Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
- Who can Apply. Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) - 2026 exam (for B.E/ B. Tech). Call up for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) - 2026 published by NTA.

Pay Scale & Mode of Selection

Pay Scale:

During Training: Fixed stipend of ₹56,100/month (Complete 4-year B.Tech degree cost is fully borne by the Indian Navy).

On Commissioning (Sub Lieutenant): ₹1,10,000 to ₹1,20,000/month approximate gross salary (Level 10 Basic Pay of ₹56,100 + MSP of ₹15,500 + DA, HRA, and allowances).

Selection Process:

Shortlisting: Based on JEE Main Common Rank List (CRL). (Candidate must also have $\ge$ 70% aggregate in PCM in 10+2).

SSB Interview: 5-day testing process (Psychological, GTO tasks, and Interview) for shortlisted candidates. No written exam.

Medical Test: Medical fitness examination at a military hospital.

Merit List: Final selection is prepared strictly based on SSB Marks and medical fitness.
