Application Fee

• Paper-I or II
• General/ BC/ EWS Candidates : Rs. 1300/-
• SC/ ST/ PH Candidates : Rs. 700/-
• Primitive Tribe : Rs. 500/-
• Both Paper-I & II
• General/ BC/ EWS Candidates : Rs. 1500/-
• SC/ ST/ PH Candidates : Rs. 800/-
• Primitive Tribe : Rs. 600/-
• Payment Mode: Pay the Examination Fee Through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking or Offline Fee Mode Only.

JHTET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Primary Level (I-5)

• Passed 10+2 Intermediate / Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and completed a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed / BTC / equivalent) recognized by NCTE. Candidates admitted in training session on or after 09 December 2007 are eligible.

OR 

• Passed 10+2 Intermediate / Higher Secondary with minimum 45% marks and completed a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education as per NCTE Regulations 2002. Candidates admitted before 09 December 2007 are eligible.

OR

• Passed 10+2 Intermediate / Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and completed 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

• Passed 10+2 Intermediate / Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks and completed 2-Year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

• Graduation Degree in any stream with 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education.

• Important Note: Candidates must check the official Jharkhand JHTET 2026 notification for detailed eligibility, reservation relaxation, and certificate validity before applying online.

Junior Level (6-8)

• Graduation Degree in relevant subject with at least 50% marks and passed / appearing in 1-Year B.Ed.

OR

• Graduation Degree in relevant subject with minimum 45% marks and passed / appearing in 1-Year B.Ed. as per NCTE norms.

OR

• Passed 10+2 / Intermediate with at least 50% marks and completed / appearing in 4-Year B.A. B.Ed. / B.Sc. B.Ed. Integrated Course.

OR

• Graduation Degree with minimum 50% marks and completed / appearing in 1-Year B.Ed. (Special Education).

OR

• Post Graduation Degree with at least 55% marks and completed / appearing in 3-Year Integrated B.Ed. – M.Ed. Course.

• Subject Wise Requirement:

  Candidates must have studied the concerned subject in Graduation / Post Graduation for applying as Upper Primary Teacher (Class 6 to 8).

• Applicants are advised to read the official Jharkhand JHTET 2026 Notification carefully for complete eligibility details, age limit, reservation benefits, and certificate verification process before applying online.

📋 How to Download Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2026 Admit Card

1. Visit the official website jac.jharkhand.gov.in or jacexamportal.in.
2. Click on the “JHTET / JTET 2026 Admit Card” link.
3. Log in with your Application / Registration Number and Date of Birth.
4. Download the Admit Card (available from 15 October 2026).
5. Print and carry it to the exam centre with original Aadhaar / valid photo ID. Report 2 hours before the exam.

Note: Check all details carefully. Admit card will not be sent by post. Contact JAC helpline for any discrepancy.
