1. Visit the official website at https://upsc.gov.in.
2. Click on the “Written Results” section and select “Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2025 Mains Result”.
3. The result PDF will open containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates.
4. Search your Roll Number in the list carefully.
5. Download and save the result PDF, and take a printout for future reference.

1. Preliminary Examination Pattern:-

Paper I: General Studies and Engineering Aptitude

1. Type: Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions)
2. Duration: 2 hours
3. Marks: 200
4. Subjects: General Studies,  Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Aptitude

Paper II: Engineering Discipline

1. Type: Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions)
2. Duration: 3 hours
3. Marks: 300
4. Subjects: Questions are specific to the engineering discipline chosen by the candidate (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics & Telecommunication).

2. Main Examination Pattern:-

Paper I: Engineering Discipline

1. Type: Conventional (Descriptive)
2. Duration: 3 hours
3. Marks: 300
4. Subjects: Detailed questions specific to the chosen engineering discipline.

Paper II: Engineering Discipline

1. Type: Conventional (Descriptive)

4. Subjects: Further detailed questions specific to the chosen engineering discipline.

3. Interview/Personality Test

1. Type: Personal Interview
2. Duration: About 200 marks
3. Purpose: To assess the candidate’s overall personality, communication skills, and suitability for a career in the engineering services.
