- Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) from any recognized board or institution.

- Served in the Territorial Army for at least 2 years, OR
- Obtained ‘B’ Certificate from NCC (National Cadet Corps), OR
- Has obtained a Certificate in Computer Application from an institution recognized by the Central or State Government, OR
- Has represented the State in any sport.
